Tryouts for U9-U14 will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 26-27.  Tryouts for U15 will be held Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, and tryouts for U16-18 will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 2-3, 2024.

Early pre-registration ends at 2:00pm on Friday, October 25 for ages  U9-U14, and 9:00pm on Thursday, October 31 for U15-U18.  We are trying to eliminate all walk-in registrations, so please register online!  Tryout fees are non-refundable.

​Tryout fee is $50.   The tryout fee covers both days of tryouts if applicable. We strongly encourage players in the 13-18 age groups to come to both days of tryouts so that we can accurately assess each player!  We have a ton of players coming out, so the more we can see you play, the better!

If you missed the early registration or prefer to pay in person, the fee is payable by cash or credit card at the time of tryouts.  Checks are no longer accepted.  Please arrive 30-45 minutes early.  We strongly encourage you to pay online for tryouts to save time at check-in.

Players need to attend one of the two tryout sessions for their age group.  Players are welcome and encouraged to attend both tryout sessions without an additional charge.  

• Please show up at least 30 minutes early in order to get through registration. 
• No spectators will be allowed during tryouts.  All parents/guardians are being asked to wait in their cars.
• Once offers are made, you will have until the end of the open tryout period to make your decision.  If we do not hear back from you, we will offer the next person on the wait list.  This season, offers are good until Tuesday, November 5 at 10:00pm for all age groups.
• If you are given an offer and decide to play for another club, please let us know asap so that we can offer to another player on our wait list.
• If you are on the wait list, please be patient.  We understand how stressful this process is and appreciate your patience and understanding!   
•  We will have our Uniform Fitting/Commitment Night on Thursday, November 7 at St. Paul's School for Girls (Performance Gym) and practices will start the week of November 18.  The November deposit/payment will be due on our Commitment Night.  Details will be posted soon!

The Chesapeake Region (CHRVA) requires all players trying out for teams to have a completed Medical Release form on file prior to tryouts.  NOTE:  This does NOT have to be filled out by a doctor.  A parent/guardian fills it out.

Before heading to tryouts, please make sure you have the following in hand:

• Tryout fee $50 (cash or credit card) if you did not pay online
• USAV/CHRVA Membership card **REQUIRED**
• Completed USAV Medical Release Form **REQUIRED**
• Water bottle
